Art Therapy

Creating art is an opportunity to express their imagination, authenticity and spontaneity of humane is. It's an experience that over time leads to a feeling of satisfaction, a sense of psychological correction and change. Creative process can be a healing process that produces an experience of personal growth.

Creative process and content in art immigrants help the patient deal stress, crises, and processing traumatic experiences, help improve cognitive function, improved relationships with family and friends, and improving the quality of life in general.

The goal of treatment is similar for all art psychotherapy: improving and maintaining mental health and quality of life. Art therapy uses tools such as: painting, drawing, collage and other methods to express emotions and personal experiences visually.

Patient creation process translates his thoughts, feelings, experiences and difficulties to non-verbal symbols reflect its processes emotional.
